The project concerns the conversion of an apartment into a cardiology clinic in a 60s apartment building in Athens city center. The main goal during its architectural redesign and renovation was to create a space along classic lines, meeting the needs and requirements of the user.
The clinic is defined by two distinct functional units. One includes the waiting room with the reception desk, while the second one includes the doctor's office and two examination rooms. Characteristic materials such as wood, marble and plaster classical details were preserved and dominate the space, redolent of the aesthetics of a bygone era. At the same time, modern elements were fitted, perfectly harmonized with the aesthetics of the space.
